Developed by Oriel, a Division of Angel Public Relations & Administration, the Little Miss Suriname exists to provide personal and professional opportunities for young children to promote their voices in culture and the community.




It provides a forum for today's young women to express their viewpoints, talents and accomplishments to audiences during the telecast and to the public-at-large during the ensuing year. Almost all contestants have either received, or are in the process of earning either primary school or junior high school, and utilize Little Miss Suriname grants to further their educations.

VISION: To Inspire and Develop the Highest Moral Values In the Young Girls and Future Leaders and Mothers of Suriname.

GOALS: To Develop A Sense of Self Worth and Self Esteem in the Young Women of Suriname’s Future. To teach them not only to appreciate Beauty on the surface but to appreciate the Beauty within themselves and others.

MISSION: As a developing Nation this Organization has taken on the task as a major contributor in the development of the young girls and young women of Suriname to better prepare them for the challenges and responsibilities of a developed World.

These young ladies must be capable at any given opportunity to proudly represent in a positive manner to the wider Global community the Beauty and Peace that Suriname has to offer among the many other positive attributes.

After a long period of inactivity regarding The National Pageant, The Miss Suriname Pageant began in 2007 by A.P.R.A.

The competition was held at the national Congress Hall in Paramaribo which is the venue where most national events are held.The first Little Miss Suriname from Oriel, is Chanyenne Sabajo.

The Little Miss Suriname Organization by Angel's Public Relations & Administration (a non-profit organization) provides children to further their personal and professional goals and instills a spirit of community service through a variety of unique nationwide community-based programs.
